I am Kaviraj Goodoory, Associate professor at the MIE. I was previously at the UTM as lecturer before joining MIE. I received my secondary at the Royal College of Curepipe. My academic achievement was coming 1st at SC in Principles of Accounts despite being a science side student At HSC i ranked 16th in Science Side and that helped me top the ICCR scholarship list. I did my graduation at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay where I was active on the Campus life and was the institute football team captain as well as contingent leader in the inter IIT competitions.
Back
in Mauritius I joined SItrac Ltd as lecturer which was later part of
UTM. I joined MIE in 2001 as lecturer. I have been involved in many ICT
projects. One of my projects was short-listed for the commonwealth
quality in education awards. I have also been involved in curriculum
development and textbook writing. I have so far published 16 articles in
various conferences and journals. I am currently the Head of Department
of Computer Education Department. I am also leading a commonwealth
project (CDELTA) which is its second edition.
